2008 Race Results
March 15th, 2008 - Old Dominion Speedway
George started practice at Old Dominion Speedway with his
new car. The car is completely different this year, with a
whole new set up. Practice went well and we were 6th
fastest on the track. We were very happy with that, now
George has to get seat time and get comfortable with the
new car. We feel very confident that we have a winning
car.

April 12th, 2008 - Old Dominion Speedway
George started his first points race at Old
Dominion were he qualified 12th. At the beginning of lap
one going into turn one the 3rd and 4th place cars got
together and started a chain reaction behind them. George
was able to maneuver to the outside when the 14th place
car hit the outside wall and bounced down into George. The
right front tire of the 11th place car hit George's left
front tire and knocking the tow out of George's car.
George returned to the race. On lap 2 George went into the
corner an his steering locked up and he couldn't steer the
car too well, the steering kept locking up during the
entire race. George fought the steering issues to finish
in 9th place with 19 cars still on the track. After the
race we found a broken tooth in the steering box that was
causing the steering issues.
April 19th, 2008 - Old Dominion Speedway
George qualified for the race in 12th.
During the race he worked his way to 7th and was running
in 7th with 2 laps to
go and the caution came out. Under caution the 8th and 9th
place cars were beating and banging for position behind George. On the
restart they got into George while battling with each other for position
causing George to have a bad restart where he finished 10th of the 25 cars on
track.

May 10th, 2008 - Shenandoah Speedway
After being Rained out at Old Dominion
Speedway, we went to Shenandoah Speedway where George
qualified 6th. He started the race an lost 1
position on the start of the race. While setting himself
up to take back 6th position George hit water that was
weeping up through the track that they were trying to hold
at the top of the track with speedy dry causing George to
spin on the 9th lap. George went to the rear of the field
and took a few laps to get his tires cooled down from the
spin and then started to advance forward working his way
back to 10th position where he finished the race. There
were 20 cars in the race. We felt we did well for our
first time at this track. We will be returning to
Shenandoah on May 17th to get ready for a big race on
Memorial Day weekend. Stay tuned for an updated
schedule.
