In 2008 George Cushman Racing will partner up with CMG Motorsports to race a full season at Old Dominion Speedway in Virginia, and a partial season at Shenandoah Speedway in Virginia. CMG Motorsports will be an advisor to George and also serve as his Car Chief in the races at Shenandoah and Old Dominion. 

In addition George Cushman Racing is planning to race partial schedule at the Chemung Speedrome in Chemung New York where George was the 2007 Legends Division Rookie of the Year.

2008 will also bring a number change to GCR, we will be switching from the number 8 to the number 31.
