George's Career History:
George started racing Quarter Midgets when
he was 11 years old, he ran 3 years in Quarter Midgets and
was very successful with 26 wins and a 1st place in the
novice division. In 2005 he placed 2nd & 6th in points
and in 2006 he placed 1st & 3rd in the final point
standings, Capturing
the heavy 160 championship at the Syracuse Quarter Midget
Club.
We then
decided it was time to move on as George was out growing
the cars and wanted to take on something more challenging.
That is when we moved into a Legends Car.
The
2007 season in the Legends Car was a very successful,
George was named 2007 Rookie of the Year at the Chemung
Speedrome in New York and finished 6th in the final series
points. Capturing 13 top 10s in 19 races.
In 2007
George also ran a race at SouthSide Speedway in Virginia
were he was running 7th on the last lap when the leader and two
other cars got together causing the leader to spin up in
front of George leaving us with a
disappointing 11th place finish. George also raced at Old
Dominion Speedway in Virginia where he finished 10th in
his only appearance.
